Stone
Garden
The
sound
of
wind
is
not
heard
among
the
foliage
of
trees
anymore
Instead,
stones
are
hung
from
the
trees
Hit
by
the
wind
the
stones
make
no
sound
Seems
like
our
ears
have
been
deafened…
The
present
collection
is
the
result
of
the
experience
of
the
image,
devised
by
the
aid
of
the
mental
combination
of
the
Stone
Garden
by Dervish
Khan
Esfandiarpour* and
headless
trees
of
the
Valiasr
Street
in
Tehran.
The
presence
of
woman
in
this
collection
is
very
symbolic.
While
indicating
her
parenthood,
at
times
it
plays
the
role
of a
rescuer,
and
yet,
at
others,
the
signs
and
hopes
of
rebirth
can’t
be
detected.

Sirjan,
which
was
built
by a
deaf-mute
old
man
for
unknown
reasons
