She was not like anybody else. She was herself; brilliant, tasteful, classy, humble and daring.
You could not ignore her. She had a strong presence and a charming and prominent character and personality.
Her impact upon the contemporary Iranian culture is immense, and her role as one of the salient gallery owners of Iran has changed Seyhoun Art Gallery to one of the backbones of contemporary Iranian art in the past six decades.
Her deep love for her country’s culture has put her among the honored and the unbowed of her generation.
I have always adored and cherished her.
