Human Geography

The geography and historical period in which we live, includes unique qualities that becomes the perceptive, the intuitive and the conceptual role in works of art by artists actively creating in this particular time period and location.

The most important feature of art works from a certain period analyzed from the dual perspective of formal and visual language is expressively clear, in so far as how the children in a family with shared experiences have different thoughts and point of views?

Humans, despite the impact of collective and historical memory of a period, can with great ingenuity create diverse perceptions in the public sphere.

“Human Geography” exhibit works of figurative artists in our present contemporary society settings.

Selected artists have referenced and employed these issues in their professional career and have depicted elements associated with human condition, be it psychoanalytic, social, historical and symbolic values from numerous points of view despite living in the same time period. It is through the culmination of these works that we will achieve a more comprehensive interpretation and create a dialogue on a universal conflict in a certain time and in specified geographic location.

Undoubtedly the contemporary art of the country in the current landscape will open a new gateway regarding research and understanding on the issues of the relationship between humans and their geographies from angles that brings these unique artists together.
