"Last
Reminiscence
of
Heaven"
Yes,
these
are
allegories.
They
are
personal
memories
inspired
by
my
ancestors.
Which
ancestors?
I
really
don't
know.
These
paintings
remind
me
of
my
delights
and
regrets-
about
my
own
existence.
When
and
where
did
I
collect
these
memories?
On
the
other
side
of
the
world,
when
I
was
misplaced.
Being
misplaced
makes
a
person
fragmented
and
multifaceted,
and
able
to
start
breathing
in
multiple
worlds.
This
divided
experience
imbues
my
works
with
a
surrealistic
visual
sense.
I
exhale
narratives
that
were
destined
to
me.
These
are
final
reminiscences
of
heaven;
stories
from
a
time
when
the
sounds
of
music,
laughter
and
birds
could
be
heard
from
a
distance.
