It’s not always easy to show my awareness in what I do…. These canvases have been achieved with a mixture of techniques and collage that has been leading my fantasy forever.  There are always fragments of paper which I do myself and insert in all the rest.

These canvases are fragments of my life where I lived and experienced my confusion in search of my identity which I could not find anywhere.. Maybe that is the reason why they are so different.

The birth of my daughter, which is the greatest gift in my life, has helped me to achieve stability.  This is evident in the most recent canvases where the pictures become round and large.. My awareness of being a woman and also a mother.

This is my starting point and I am happy it is happening in my father’s country.  Here are all the odors, the colors and the flavors of my life that I recognize in my drawings.  I have always done and will always mix these ingredients, like in a recipe, in all my works from graphic design to textile design.
