Mohsen Ahmadvand is a talented young artist whose work is imbued with dark humor the way it was with another great artist, Ardeshir Mohassess. Ahmandvand brings predicaments and calamities of our world under his magnifying glass. Through satire and movements of a slick pen, he puts down his inner emotions and thoughts on paper. In the works that I have seen of him one can detect delicate sentiments, deep meditations, and great suffering. Works of this young artist are in sync with the events of his age.
Mohsen Ahmandvand has succeeded, in no time at all, to join the ranks of great artists. I wish him good health and ever more accomplishments. I also wish that we can all get to better know and hold commerce with young artists like him.
